Discovering git-flow
This morning, while going trough my daily intake of information via Google Reader, I discovered git-flow.
git-flow is a collection of tools for using Vincent Driessen’s Git branching model, and just reading the description of the workflow makes me drool with excitement.
We use a similar workflow at work, but seeing it so thoroughly described really helps you think a little bit more about the whys and hows of it…
Which brings me to the main point of this post.
The world is full of nice people
Every now and then, I happen to come across something (a bit of code, a blog post, a website…) that makes me think: “how nice is that?”.
I love those moments. They really brighten my day, and give me back the joy of feeling that the world (and the internet, in particular) is really, really, full of nice people.
Have a beautiful day :)
